The Bank of Ireland Leinster School of Excellence has been in running for 20 years and is the largest and most successful rugby camp in the country.
Its aim of the camp is to provide players from 12-17 years old, both boys and girls (separate camps) with a comprehensive rugby package which allows them to experience a week in the life of a professional rugby player.
What sets the Leinster School of Excellence programme apart from any other rugby experience for boys and girls is, at this stage of their rugby development is the phenomenal level of coaching on offer from professional coaches and nutritional experts.
Focus of the week is on developing core individual skills as well as improving game sense and game understanding. The players will experience in depth video analysis, position specific as well as weekly guest speakers, sports psychology for the young player and swimming pool recovery session.
