After all the excitement of our victory over France in Lansdowne Road last Saturday we are back to the real thing this coming weekend. On Saturday (4th March @ 3.00pm) next our brilliant 3rd XV take on Suttonians in their Metro League in Gordon Park. A HOME victory here would secure our place at the top of the league.
On the following day ( Sunday 5th March) our First & Seconds travel to Portlaoise RFC for two vital league games. We have been going well in both leagues and now need to get victory(s) this weekend and again in the final league games against Mullingar at home the following weekend to ensure we finish the League season on a high. Kick off’s are at 1.30pm for Seconds game and 3.00pm for Firsts encounter.
We then have the Quarter Final of the Provincial Towns Cup to look forward to on the day after the England game – Sunday 19th March in Skerries RFC.
Next Sunday at 12.00 noon our Under 17’s take on the Liberty Saints in their Cup match in Gordon Park. If you can’t make it to Portlaoise please get out and support our clubs home matches on Saturday and Sunday games.
